Namou is written by Glauco Cataldo aka Blind Boy De Vita. The word is used in the Mande language to express that you appreciate something very much. In old Ali Farka Touré recordings you hear them say this, if they are very happy about the music. When they really get touched by the music. So we are giving homage to this old West African artists like Toumani Diabate, Ali Farka Touré and Afel Bocum which are also an inspiration to us.
