The sound aesthetic of «Metina» (Wolof for: it hurts) is strongly reminiscent of Siselabongas first album «Binta» (2017) - the electric guitar gives way to the acoustic, the drums to the calabash - and makes room for great feelings. The ballad is about the fear of death, personal loss and the pain that comes with it.
